Started career as Junior Engineer in Government Department - for 2 years

Left the Government Job and went for training in Holland

After completion of training, started own enterprise in India on Small Scale, in 1971 as Proprietary Company. Developed Tungsten Filament as import substitute in India.

In 1980's lead the team to develop Vacuum Metallizing Coils first time in India and also gained honour of Pioneer Exporter for this product.

In 1988 became Chairman & Managing Director of E.L.F. Filament Industries Private Limited when E.L.F. turned into Private Limited Company.
